I've staved off the switch to Chrome for the last few years because of Firefox' URL tagging feature, but PDF files are so much of my life that I've switched to Chrome until I can get a resolution.Im using Google chrome version 15.0.874.106 and while browsing the internet after awhile or using a graphic editor app/website my page will start slowing down than a window will popup with a shockwave flash plugin error message, i usually click wait instead of kill and it reloads but keeps happening too frequently, i did uninstall chrome and switched to firefox which however loaded more pages better but after awhile i got a plugin unresponsive error message on that browser too so i switched back to chrome because im more familiar with it and it must be more of a issue than just the browser. As of 2021, Adobe has ended support for the Flash Player plugin. I've verified when I click on PDF links from web servers, that the mime type is application/pdf, but nothing is displayed. It is as though Firefox doesn't know how to handle PDF files any more. If I download a PDF file, and try the "Open file." menu item, navigating to the directory containing the PDF, when I click on the PDF file, I get the same behavior. I don't see how to add Content Types to the list. Whenever I click on an PDF link, I see the URL in my address bar, but I have a blank page.
